Exciting events lined up in Val d'Isère

Two exciting events are coming up in Val d'Isère to entertain those enjoying a luxury ski holiday in the French resort.

Tourism chiefs at the French resort have confirmed that the 2012 Polo Masters event will be staged between 11th and 14th January at the foot of Bellevarde Face.

The competition will see four teams of three players participate in a sport that is extremely fast paced and makes for thrilling viewing for spectators.

As well as this, the famous winter sports destination will also host its annual classical music festival later in the month.

Classicaval will take place between 24th and 26th January, while visitors heading to Val d'Isère later in the season will also be able to catch the event between 12th and 15th March.

Heavy snowfall in the run up to Christmas has resulted in perfect skiing conditions in Val d'Isère and bosses at Asda Travel Insurance stated this week that there has never been a better time for people to get their skis out and head over to France.
