Cape Town Opera group set to delight crowds worldwide

People who have been lucky enough to experience a luxury holiday in South Africa in the past may have come across the Cape Town Opera.

The group is the largest performing arts company in the country and is set to put on a number of high-profile shows in 2012.

According to the Cape Times, the talented musicians will first appear at the Castle of Good Hope between 7th and 10th March. It is possible that attendees will never have experienced a concert that is set against such a stunning backdrop, as this particular venue is blessed with perfect views of Table Mountain.

There will be a series of other performances throughout the year and the opera group will also make history, as they venture to Australia for the first time ever. The immensely talented musicians will also tour around six cities in the UK.

Cape Town is building a solid reputation for producing fine music and this is sure to be showcased at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in March.
