Chef hails South African lodge as "the best place on earth"

Australian celebrity chef Neil Perry was extremely impressed by what he saw during a recent trip to South Africa.

Mr Perry - who makes regular guest appearances on the popular Masterchef show - is a very talented cook and is currently the executive chef for Qantas.

He was in South Africa to cook up a storm alongside local chef Benny Masekwameng at a luxury hotel in Johannesburg.

During his tour, the gifted cook explored the KwaZulu-Natal region and he was amazed by the area.

He stayed in a luxury lodge at andBeyond's Phinda Game Reserve and he took to Twitter to label it "the best place on earth".

It is hard not to fall in love with KwaZulu-Natal, which boasts some of the most stunning scenery on the planet.
