Head to The Food Show in Auckland

New Zealand is one of the most diverse countries in the southern hemisphere and visitors will be amazed by the stunning scenery on the North and South islands.

Auckland is definitely one of the best places to base yourself when you take a luxury holiday in New Zealand, as it is a thriving city that has plenty going on.

The metropolis holds a number of exciting cultural events each year and The Food Show is often one of the most highly anticipated occasions.

It will take place at the ASB Showgrounds between 2nd and 5th August 2012 and visitors will be able to sample some of the world's most exquisite cuisine and wine.

A selection of New Zealand's finest chefs will be on hand to offer cooking demonstrations and there will be hundreds of stalls offering many different types of food.

In previous years, the gastronomic festival has been a roaring success and organisers are hopeful that the 2012 show will raise the bar again.

Guests are encouraged to try innovative dishes based on new techniques pioneered by some of the most creative cooks in the country.
