Tailor made holidays: Sushi restaurant 'single-handedly put Tenerife's culinary scene on the map'

It may surprise people planning tailor made holidays to Tenerife that the Canary Island boasts some of the finest sushi in the world.

But this is the case, according to Daily Mail travel writer Priscilla Pollara, who wrote that chef Ricardo Sanz's Kabuki restaurant is a brilliant place to visit while travelling around the country

"It is on the largest and greenest of the Canary Islands that you find [the acclaimed restaurant] - a restaurant whose menu celebrates a unique hybrid of Spanish and Japanese cuisine," she said.

"The restaurant - which is located within the confines of the luxurious Abama Golf and Spa Resort - has single-handedly put Tenerife's culinary scene on the map."

Thanks to location of the restaurant, Kabuki is an ideal place to visit after a day of luxuriating in the spa, or after walking along the beaches in the beautiful sunshine for which the island is famous.
