If people are planning on using their luxury honeymoon holiday to spot wildlife, Kenya is the place to go, according to an award-winning travel writer.

Chris Leadbeater, who is a travel writer for the Daily Mail newspaper, has said that the east African destination has many wildlife parks which "play ... host to endangered species".

"[Travellers going to the African country] will find the world's finest safari destination," he said.

"If you can't spot the full Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) in Kenya, you aren't looking hard enough."

The writer added that the country is very romantic, which is evidenced by the fact that Prince William proposed to his then-girlfriend while on a wildlife park in Kenya. Mr Leadbeater suggested that the royal couple may be considering visiting the country on a luxury honeymoon holiday of their own.

People planning adventure holidays to Kenya could also see beautifully majestic animals in Kenya's most famous wildlife parks: the Masai Mara. Here, people can see the migrations from the Serengeti of the zebra and wildebeest.
