Luxury honeymoon holidays: Follow the royal lead to the Seychelles
People planning a luxury honeymoon holiday may wish to follow the lead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and jet off to the Seychelles.
That is because the country offers experiences and accommodation that really is good enough for royalty, including some of the most beautiful and clean beaches in the world.
Amanda Statham, a travel expert who penned the seminal travel book The Globe-Trotters Guide, praised the island nation's pace of life and opportunities to see nature at its finest in an article for the Daily Mail.
"The pace of life is slow and laidback; the two types of transport are ox-cart or bicycle and boats are traditionally made by hand," he said.
"[In the Seychelles, travellers] can catch a glimpse of the Seychelles' black paradise flycatcher, one of the rarest birds on earth."
It is likely that William and Catherine's sojourn to the islands will drive up the interest in travelling to the region of the world.
