Tailor made holidays: Sharm el Sheikh 'provides relaxation' and much more

People planning tailor made to northern Africa should visit the Egyptian resort of Sharm el Sheikh, according to a television personality.

Anthea Turner, known for presenting classic shows such as Blue Peter and GMTV, visited the destination and told the Daily Mail about the experience.

Ms Turner noted that the Egyptian resort offered the family (she travelled with her husband and his three teenage daughters) everything they wanted in a tailor made holiday.

"For our break, I wanted guaranteed sunshine … no jet-lag and a hotel that wouldn't be boring for three teenage girls, while at same time providing us all with the relaxation we craved," she wrote in an article which appears on the news provider's website.

The Egyptian tourism board has recently launched an advertising campaign to try and tempt British travellers to Sharm el Sheikh. These adverts have appeared on the London Underground system and bus network, among other places.
