Tailor made holidays: Buenos Aires is 'stylish' and 'authentic'
Buenos Aires - the capital of Argentina - is an increasingly popular travel destination and is becoming a "must-see" place for people to visit on a tailor made holiday.
That is according to Heather Carswell, the senior media and communications executive for the guidebook publishers Lonely Planet, who said the "stylish" city is becoming very popular.
"If you're looking for a real taste of Latin spirit then Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires is the place to go," she said.
"It is a city where you can find authentic old-eateries and tango dancing on every corner, colonial and Art Deco architecture and stylish hotels, restaurants and bars."
Ms Carswell noted that one of the best places to visit in the country is Cementerio de la Recoleta, which - despite being a cemetery - is beautiful and home to the graves of Eva Peron, Raul Alfonsin and several presidents of Argentina.
Lonely Planet is one of the largest travel publishers in the United Kingdom, selling more than six million books annually.
