Luxury family holidays: Trips to Grenada are 'truly memorable'

Luxury family holidays in Grenada are an unforgettable experience, it has been claimed.

Tamara Abraham, travel correspondent for the Daily Mail, paid a visit to the Caribbean island and claimed the Grand Etang National Park, located in the centre of Grenada, featured "incredibly" scenery.

"A trek to the Seven Sisters Waterfall was truly memorable," she wrote.

"The breathtaking waterfall was well worth the walk, and we stopped for a picnic lunch at its base, where we could cool off with a swim in the deep, clear pool beneath - bliss. Braver souls could trek higher, to the top of the falls, and leap down into the pool below."

Holidaymakers can also try out river tubing, in which guests travel down rapids in a rubber ring, with Ms Abraham claiming the activity "didn't disappoint".

Grenada is widely referred to as the 'island of spice' due to its high production of nutmeg and mace crops which it exports around the world.
