Diving trips offer unforgettable experiences in Tanzania

Holidaymakers planning on spending time in the coastal regions during luxury holidays in Tanzania could find scuba diving in Zanzibar provides them with an unforgettable experience.

The incredible marine life and coral which is found off the coast of the African nation makes it one of the most impressive places to explore, the Commission for Tourism in Zanzibar said.

"Diving from a boat in the clear, blue ocean off Zanzibar is one of the most exhilarating experiences to be had on a holiday in this part of east Africa," the country's tourism authority stated.

Among the beautifully-coloured corals and lush sea weeds, divers can expect to see schools of fish weaving between the plant life and they will also find other creatures, ranging from cuttlefish to sea cucumbers, inhabiting the warm waters.

Zanzibar lies in the Indian Ocean and is just 20 minutes by air from the coast of Tanzania.
