Uluru is one of the 'greatest travel experiences'
Uluru is an amazing place to visit on a tailor made holiday, as because of the sun, it is constantly changing colour throughout then day, according to Wanderlust travel magazine.
The website for the publication announced that visiting Uluru is one of the "100 greatest travel experiences" in the world, placing it alongside such attractions as the Great Barrier Reef and Table Mountain in South Africa.
"It's a bit like a large and lumpy sandstone canvas. Because Uluru … is at the mercy of master painter Mother Nature; its [colour] shifts with the sun," the travel magazine noted on its website, today (August 4th).
"At midday, rays spotlight Uluru’s every crag and crevice (best seen on the 10km round-rock Base Walk). Come dusk, old Ayers blazes orange - a last hurrah, before fading to black."
Uluru is located in Australia's Northern Territory, which is an ideal destination for those planning luxury tailor made holidays, being home to Alice Springs and Kakadu National Park.
