Inhambane is a 'must-stop destination' for those in Mozambique

Mozambique's city of Inhambane is a "must-stop destination" for people planning to take a tailor made holiday tour around the region, according to the official promotional body for the nation.

Mozambique Travel, an organisation which aims to encourage tourism in the country, noted that many different elements of southern Mozambican city combine to make a great destination.

"Relaxing beaches, brilliant weather and the freshest seafood imaginable makes Inhambane a must-stop destination for a holiday in Mozambique," the organisation noted in an article on its website.

"If you like exploring, then Inhambane will tickle your fancy. This interesting town is filled with quirky bars, restaurants and a museum as well as fascinating buildings and architecture."

Another destination that comes highly recommended for people visiting the south-east African nation is Vilanculos, which Mozambique Travel praised for its "wonderful restaurants and bohemian cafes serving some of the best seafood you will ever taste".
