Wanaka 'is a great place to enjoy New Zealand adventure activities'

Those who wish to try their hand at various adventure sports while they travel New Zealand will be able to enjoy several of them in Wanaka, which is a haven for watersports fans.

Bradley Davis, web manager of Lake Wanaka Accommodation, said in an entry on EzineMarl.com that as far as outdoor adventure locations go, Wanaka can rival anywhere in the world.

Boasting mountains and a large lake, there is something for everyone to enjoy during their New Zealand adventure.

"Wanaka is popular for some of the world's best hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, fishing, kayaking and if you are really after a thrill, you can go jetboating as well," Mr Davis said.

He added that there are various watersports which people can enjoy on the magnificent Lake Wanaka, including waterskiing and sailing.
