Visit 'the paradise' of Kaikoura when travelling in New Zealand
Those who plan to travel New Zealand in the near future must ensure they factor in a visit to the seaside town of Kaikoura during their stay, as it has been described as "paradise" by one writer.
Kip Brook, from Word of Mouth Media New Zealand, stated that Kaikoura offers something for everyone to enjoy, with majestic snow-capped mountains, beaches and marine life making it an exciting place to be.
Those interested in whale watching in New Zealand will be able to get closer than most to sperm whales, which inhabit the waters there all year.
"Kaikoura is one of the few places in the world where sperm whales can be seen year-round and close to the shore," Mr Brook added.
Sperm whales are not the only marine creatures which frequent the area, with families able to see dolphins and seals as well.
Kaikoura is a hub for eco-tourism, with those on New Zealand adventures also able to enjoy albatross tours, wilderness walks and tree-planting excursions.
