'Plenty of things to do' on a New Zealand adventure
Those planning a tailor made New Zealand holiday in the near future have been advised that four weeks is the ideal length of time to really discover the country and the numerous things it has to offer.
Gregg Anderson, regional manager of Europe for Tourism New Zealand, said that ten days is sufficient time to get a taste of the country, however, those who really want to get under its skin need to dedicate four weeks to their New Zealand adventure, with a fortnight spent on each island.
This will give couples the chance to enjoy some of the many wonderful activities which the country has to offer.
Mr Anderson recommended whale watching in Kaikoura, dolphin swimming in Northland, kayaking in the Abel Tasman National Park and glacier walks on the West coast.
Fans of whale watching in New Zealand were overjoyed recently when southern right whales were seen frolicking in Wellington Harbour, the Dominion Post reported.
