New Zealand's Central Otago Rail Trail 'is 150 km of pure scenic beauty'
Couples whose primary objective on their New Zealand adventure is to take in as much of the country's natural beauty as possible should dedicate some of their holiday to a bike ride along the Central Otago Rail Trail.
Freelance writer Cleo Paskal wrote in a piece for thestar.com that the views are spectacular and noted that various sections of the path are easy to ride along, meaning even those who are not keen cyclists can have an enjoyable experience.
"It is 150 km of pure scenic beauty ... in fact, the rail trail is like one long, postcard-perfect flip-it book of Kiwiana," she stated.
In addition, those on New Zealand adventure holidays will find the tourism infrastructure along the path is excellent, with various signs pointing out places of interest along the way.
According to the trail's official website, visitors should devote around four days to exploring it to get a real idea of what it is all about.
