Namibia, a country with a landscape like no other

Namibia is a country with a landscape so varied and striking that those on a family safari adventure will remember the amazing geography just as much as the animals they encounter.

Simon Harsford, writing in the Daily Telegraph, said that he and his wife enjoyed their honeymoon in the south-west African country and described it as one of the continent's most thrilling destinations.

From bushland to desert to coastlines, Namibia's varied geography is breathtaking, with the animal skeletons and shipwrecks scattered along the coast one of the most bewitching sights of their trip.

Mr Harsford and his wife went on three wilderness safaris during their honeymoon and encountered many different creatures, including desert elephant and black rhino.

Summing up, the writer praised Namibia for offering such an enriching experience.

"From safaris in bushlands to deserted dunes and a coastline scattered with skeletons, few countries offer such a variety of landscape as Namibia," he concluded.

Daily Mail writer James Fraser has also heaped praise on Namibia, claiming that as a family safari destination, it is without equal.
