Luxury ski holidays: learning to ski is lots of fun
Everybody falls over the first time they hit the slopes - this is part of the fun – though more so if at the end of the day you can relax in the comfort of a luxury ski chalet.
Matt Guarente, from SkiBeginner.com, wrote for HitTheSlopes.co.uk that slipping is an inevitability but stated that it will not hurt and the likelihood is there will be more smiles than frowns.
He stated that with a competent instructor holidaymakers can learn at a steady pace and all that is required is a little enthusiasm and perseverance.
"With a decent instructor, if you're properly dressed and understand that you will fall over, you can enjoy learning," Mr Guarente said.
Furthermore, there is no need to invest in the appropriate attire before jetting off, as many luxury ski resorts have facilities where guests can hire much of the equipment they are going to need.
One such resort is Val d'Isere, which is one of the most famous and beautiful skiing destinations in Europe, according to the Italy Snow blog.
