Luxury ski fun for all the family at Mt Hutt

A luxury ski holiday is about much more than speeding down the slopes, it is about the whole package and Mt Hutt has everything for the perfect ski holiday.

From tomorrow (September 24th), a series of events and activities will take designed to give children an exciting experience and provide them with a memorable time.

With two metres of snow cover on the ground, there will be plenty of skiing going on but when the time comes to relax, the whole family can enjoy the Spring Festival celebrations.

Running for ten days, it includes various challenges and events, such as Downhill Dummy Day, the evening farmer's market, the Glide and Dive Pond Skim and many more.

Ski area manager Dave Wilson said that the next fortnight promises to be a thrilling time.

"There's plenty for all ages and stages to enjoy both on and off the snow. This is a favourite time of year at Mt Hutt - everyone's laid back and fun is the main item on the agenda," he added.

Mt Hutt stands at 2,086 m and offers wonderful views of the Canterbury Plains and Pacific Ocean.
