Beach House Maldives, The Waldorf Astoria Collection launches seaplane transfers
Travellers booking luxury family holidays in the Maldives are set to benefit from the upcoming launch of a new seaplane transfer service.
Due to be launched at the start of October, the new service will see the luxurious Beach House Maldives, The Waldorf Astoria Collection hotel linked with the nearby Male International Airport.
As well as offering a hassle-free one-hour flight to the tropical retreat, passengers will also be able to enjoy their holiday that little bit earlier, with spa treatments, refreshments and a state-of-the-art lounge on hand at the airport terminal.
It is hoped that, not only will this significantly cut down on travel times, but it will help put the sense of adventure back into luxury family holidays.
Frederic Lebegue, general manager of Beach House Maldives, The Waldorf Astoria Collection explained: "The seaplane flight offers an inimitable way to travel with picture-postcard aerial views of the islands making this a truly memorable experience."
As well as holidays amid idyllic beaches and pampering spas, the Waldorf Astoria chain of hotels and resorts are also popular with travellers wanting to brush up on their golf skills in the sun.
