Val d'Isere: A place to see great skiing

The 2010 winter sports season is fast approaching and families staying in luxury ski chalets in Val d'Isere this December will have the opportunity to witness skiing of the very highest quality.

According to the World Travel blog, families are spoilt for choice when it comes to luxury ski resorts but Val d'Isere is the place to be to see masters of the sport display their skills.

Between December 10th and 19th, the resort will host the 55th edition of the Criterium de la Premiere Niege, which will see the best men and women begin their World Cup journey.

As well as top-class skiing, there will be lots of entertainment for families to enjoy.

Those staying in luxury ski chalets in Val d'Isere over the Christmas period have plenty of festivities to look forward to.

Between December 18th and 26th, Val d'Isere will be taken over by Magie de Noel, which will see Christmas markets, bright lights, children's shows and more bring the resort to life.
