US skier lauds Zermatt's beauty

A member of the US Freestyle Moguls Ski Team has praised the beauty of the Zermatt and said that it offers some of the most spectacular views to be found at any luxury ski resort.

Jeremy Cota said that while he and his teammates were training in the region, they were able to take time to capture the scenery on film and was pleased that they picked such a beautiful destination to enjoy some training.

"Zermatt has to be one of the most scenic places I've ever been with massive endless peaks surrounding the area. The views are pretty spectacular. It makes for great Facebook photos," he stated.

Heather McPhie, also part of the team, said she found it difficult to pick a favourite thing about Zermatt but claimed that the snow was excellent and the weather was great for most of time they were there.

Angus Watson, writing in the Financial Times, praised Zermatt town recently, claiming it manages to be both "chic and boisterous".
