New Zealand: Traveller reveals joy at self drive holiday

A Canadian traveller has revealed the joy she and her boyfriend had on their self drive New Zealand holiday, saying that her lifelong dream had come true the minute the experience began.

Kenna and her partner Scott said in an interview with Sharing Travel Experiences that a New Zealand adventure was something which she had always wanted to do and when the pair of them got there they were not disappointed.

They decided to hire a campervan and explore the country from top to bottom and Kenna told the website that for this sort of holiday, there are few destinations which offer more than New Zealand.

"The world was literally our oyster - we had six months of exploration and adventure on the open road in front of us and New Zealand was the perfect landing spot – beautiful countryside, lovely people and a changing landscape at every turn," she added.

Couples will find there are driving routes across New Zealand which each offer something new, with the Taupo-Bay of Islands-Auckland trail taking visitors to a wealth of locations over a period of around seven days.
