New Zealand honeymoon: December is a good time to go

The best time to go on a New Zealand honeymoon is in December, it has been suggested.

Amanda Sathan, writing for the Daily Telegraph, highlighted the best honeymoon destinations for each month of the year and selected New Zealand for December.

What makes December such a good month to take a New Zealand honeymoon is the fact that it is when the country's summer begins, with the warmer months lasting until February.

While on their honeymoon, couples will be spoilt for choice when it comes to New Zealand luxury hotels to stay in.

Boutique hotel connoisseurs Mr and Mrs Smith recently selected ten of the best romantic hotels in the world for Reuters and recommended Eagles Nest in the Bay of Islands, which offers fantastic views and a wonderfully luxurious experience.

Those getting married before the end of the year have a host of alternatives they can explore.

One destination Ms Sathan recommended for October is Mauritius, which offers warm and dry conditions with low humidity, making it perfect for couples looking for somewhere relaxing to enjoy each other's company.
