Luxury ski resorts: Zermatt's Glacier Palace is like a fairytale

US traveller Pinkali wrote on her personal blog Life as I am Living It about her visit to the palace, describing it as being a magical and mystical place which takes the breath away.

The writer said that families can look forward to numerous ice sculptures bathed in blue light, which is a wonderful sight to behold.

Summing up the trip, the blogger described it as similar to being "inside a fairytale".

For the more adventurous family, there is a glacier crevasse which they can negotiate should they wish for a challenging ascent back to the top of the glacier.
