Luxury ski chalets - Chalet Le Rocher is magnificent

Val d'Isere is one of the most popular luxury ski resorts in Europe and it is also home to one of the best luxury ski chalets as well.

Chalet Le Rocher is described as "magnificent" by the Daily Telegraph, which highlighted the seamless blend of old and new features to create a unique and stylish abode.

"It combines rustic charm with state-of-the-art design and has an indoor pool, hammam, gym, hot tub and first-class chef," the newspaper stated.

The chalet is perfect for a big family heading away on a luxury ski adventure, as it can sleep up to 14 people.

Val d'Isere also boasts a number of luxury ski hotels, including Hotel Christiania, which is described as being a "friendly, family hotel" complete with an indoor pool and spa.

Alternatively, couples could stay at Le Blizzard, which the newspaper calls "an institution, with a civilised, cosy bar".
