Luxury family holiday: Perth offers activities for everyone

Perth could be the ideal place for a luxury family holiday as it offers activities for everyone, it has been claimed.

An article on the Telegraph website detailed five things to do in the Australian city and singled out The Western Australia museum for particular praise.

It said: "The Western Australia museum offers a wide array of exhibitions featuring significant artefacts, including dinosaur fossils, stone-age tools and meteorites.

"With its colourful, interactive displays and activities, this museum will be a winner with the kids too."

The museum is located in the Perth Cultural Centre and families could consider heading down to the nearby Art Gallery of Western Australia to see an outstanding collection of Indigenous art.

Sightseers are encouraged to embark on the Lottery West Federation Walk in order to gain "breathtaking views of the city of Perth, the surrounding rivers and Mt Eliza".

This 620-metre walk, which sees holidaymakers trek along ground-level pathways and a 52m-high glass and steel arched walkway, is one of the city's most popular attractions.

For those looking to soak up the sun, Perth is also home to 19 beaches including City Beach, Floreat Beach and Scarborough Beach.
